Through the Korea Liaison Office, OKJOO Foundation is developing transparent, locally informed pathways for scheduled grants, year-round support requests, and urgent needs. The Korea office coordinates intake and review; final decisions and funding are handled by the U.S. nonprofit.

What is the Korea Program?
The Korea Program develops transparent, locally informed grantmaking and trusted partnerships to support people with disabilities, underserved communities, and families in need.
What does the Korea Liaison Office do?
The Korea Liaison Office receives inquiries and applications, assesses local needs, conducts initial review, recommends suitable requests to the U.S. nonprofit, coordinates communication, and manages post-award follow-up. It does not make final approvals or disburse funds.
Who may be considered for support?
Requirements may differ for scheduled calls, rolling requests, and urgent cases. We generally look for mission-aligned organizations with strong community knowledge, responsible practices, and the capacity to create meaningful impact.
How are potential partners evaluated?
We consider mission alignment, community knowledge, organizational capacity, responsible stewardship, and the potential for meaningful and sustainable impact.
Are applications currently open?
Yes. Organizations may submit a year-round support inquiry, and urgent or exceptional requests may be identified for faster review. Scheduled calls and their deadlines will also be posted on the Grants & Apply page. Submission never guarantees approval.
